Urvashi Dholakia’s ‘weekend’ begins with a ‘hair change’

Mumbai, August 17. Television star Urvashi Dholakia, who is remembered as the villain Komolika from ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, has revealed how she started her ‘weekend’.

Urvashi posted a picture of herself on Instagram sitting in a hair salon getting her hair done.

“The weekend begins and I start my hair transformation,” Urvashi wrote in the caption.

Earlier this month, Urvashi talked about her first big break with the 1987 television show “Shrikant”.

Urvashi posted a picture of herself as a little girl on Instagram.

“A big throwback to when I was shooting for my first big break in the television world with the show ‘SHRIKANT’ (1987)… I found this picture and thought I must share it with you all,” she wrote.

The actress added, “This picture was taken at the then ESSEL STUDIO (I’m not sure if it still exists) which was located at a place called Trombay. It used to take me hours to get there with my mother. Oh God, what memories.”

“I can’t remember being pampered by anyone as much as I was by Praveen Ji. I will cherish these memories forever and ever, OUT OF GRATITUDE.”

The show “Shrikant” was based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyaya’s four-volume novel “Srikanta” from 1917-1933.

It tells the story of a man named Shrikant who falls in love with a woman named Raj Lakshmi, who takes care of him when he is stricken with the plague. But then he meets Abhaya, a woman who has been abandoned by her husband, and falls in love with her too.

Urvashi’s first big break came in the shows ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ and ‘Waqt Ki Raftar’. She rose to fame with her work in shows like ‘Ghar Ek Mandir’, ‘Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and ‘Kahiin To Hoga’.
