Vikes Views: What is your preferred kick-off time?

Opinion poll

What time do you prefer for a Viking game to kick off?

The majority of the Minnesota Vikings’ schedule falls around the 12:00 p.m. CST kickoff time. That’s been standard for decades. The Cowboys are the only CST players to have received this late game treatment.

Thursday night – I don’t know why anyone would choose that.

Sunday morning (12:00pm CST) – I can see the appeal of this option. It’s a good time of day to eat, have a few drinks and still be ready for work on Monday. It’s also the most common start time and people don’t like change.

Sunday late – The best thing about this start time for me is that you can watch the early games and then switch over if you have Sunday Ticket or are enjoying RedZone. It also means more viewers will be focused on your game and potentially additional conversation on national broadcasts.

Sunday night – The bigger stage and bright lights. They are the only game and fans can enjoy RedZone all day. I have enjoyed my food and drinks all day and can relax with a nightcap.

Monday night – It seems like the longest wait ever. The game is finally here. You know what happened across the league. You can watch sports all day long with a recap of the league and a preview of your own. Randy Moss on Monday Night Countdown certainly doesn’t hurt.
