Want to experience Netflix’s Stranger Things? At this North Texas mall you can

A north Texas mall will soon blur the line between reality and fantasy with a new immersive experience from Netflix.

The streaming service announced Tuesday that a permanent entertainment venue called Netflix House will soon open at Galleria Dallas. The venue at the popular Dallas mall is scheduled to open in fall 2025.

Netflix describes the development as an “experiential entertainment venue” that brings some of its most popular shows to life. Whether it’s participating in events from “Squid Game” or battling the Demogorgon from “Stranger Things,” Netflix House is designed to provide its customers with an immersive experience.

The venue will also feature a retail store selling themed food and beverages.

“At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste of your favorite Netflix shows and movies through unique food and beverage offerings,” said Marian Lee, Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix.

The first two locations to offer Netflix House filming locations are the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania and the Galleria Dallas.

Construction is currently underway at Galleria Dallas on two floors of the anchor space on the northwest side of the mall. The mall opened in 1982 and is located in north Dallas near Addison.

“The addition of Netflix House to Galleria Dallas will allow the center to lead the way in the experience economy, which is such an important aspect of retail today,” said Galleria CEO Angie Freed. “We are focused on providing our guests with the best possible experience as they shop, dine and spend time with friends and family.”

This isn’t the first time Netflix has opened an experience in North Texas.

Two years ago, in the summer of 2022, Netflix opened a Stranger Things experience at Grapevine Mills mall in support of the series’ fourth season. The pop-up store allowed fans to explore popular locations from the series and purchase exclusive merchandise.

Netflix has also collaborated with Sandbox VR, which has a location in Fort Worth, on a game based on the streamer’s series “Squid Game.”
