This card is actually so new that many of our competitors haven’t reviewed it yet. We only found two reviews, so we also read some first impressions posts to get a better idea of what our competitors think of the card.
While we all like the easy-to-earn welcome bonus, lack of an annual fee, and cell phone protection, that’s where the consensus ended. There were a few people who seemed to recognize how broad and varied the bonus categories really are, and shared my appreciation for the innovative approach to rewards.
However, some reviewers may have been a little hasty in their assessment of the new map—or maybe they just weren’t as impressed as the rest of us. For example, one reviewer complained that the map lacked common categories like gas and groceries. Another competitor called the map “boring.” (Huh?!)
Consensus in social media
Just like our competitors, social media seems to be pretty divided on this card, although the most recent posts are much more positive than those from shortly after launch. After looking closely at the broad bonus categories, people seem to be buying the card. And users who have looked into it in depth have discovered a lot of potential.
Many people online share my excitement about the pet options, with some even calling this card the new best card for pets. And many, many people have been excited about the prospect of combining this card with the Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card and the Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card for an amazing three-pack with no annual fee.
