What time does the DNC start tonight? Here are the speakers for Day 4

The Democratic National Convention is coming to a close. On the fourth and final night, Vice President Kamala Harris will officially accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for president. Find out when the convention begins tonight, who will be speaking and appearing, and other details.

On Wednesday, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz officially accepted his nomination for vice president. Oprah Winfrey, former President Bill Clinton, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and others gave speeches that evening. Also performing were Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Sheila E. and Maren Morris.

Each night of the convention will be in line with the DNC 2024 theme: “For the People, For Our Future.” The final night’s theme is “For Our Future,” focusing on moving the country forward and building on what the Biden administration has done.

According to NBC Chicago, DNC executive director Alex Hornbrook said the goal of the convention was to “use the final night at the United Center to show the American people how committed Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are to fighting for a better future for all.”

scandal Actress Kerry Washington will serve as a celebrity host for Day 4. The Chicks (formerly The Dixie Chicks) will reportedly sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” live at the United Center. When does Day 4 of the DNC start on Thursday?

Day 4 of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago begins on Thursday, August 22, at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT).

Harris’ acceptance speech is expected to begin around 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT), depending on how the evening goes. Thursday night’s festivities ended just before midnight ET.

What is the speaker list for Day 4 of the DNC?

The DNC has not yet released the full list of speakers for Day 4, but several key Democrats are expected to speak on the final night, including Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona and Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. Harris will officially address the convention on Thursday night to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination for president.

You can watch the DNC on major cable news channels, including CBS News, ABC News, Fox News, CNN, NewsNation, NBC News, MSNBC and C-SPAN.
