After nearly two weeks of high-intensity baseball, the 2024 Little League World Series is coming to an end.
Florida and Chinese Taipei will face off in the LLWS championship game on Sunday afternoon in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
The team from Lake Mary, Florida, won the US bracket on Saturday with a clear victory against Boerne, Texas. Lake Mary scored nine runs in the last two innings, fending off a comeback attempt by Boerne and securing the win with a 10-7 victory.
The Kuei-Shan Little League from Taoyuan, Taiwan, defeated Venezuela 4-1 to win the international title. Starting pitcher Lai Cheng-Xi struck out 12 batters in a dominant performance.
