What to do first in Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws is a new open-world game in star Wars Universe. It takes place somewhere after Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back which makes sense, since it seemed like the galaxy’s criminal underworld was gaining power in this film. It starts off somewhat linearly, though, as Kay Vess, the protagonist, has to scrape together some money to escape Cantonica.

How long is Star Wars Outlaws?

The main story of Star Wars Outlaws is surprisingly short, but the incredible amount of side content more than makes up for it.

Once she does, the real game begins and it can be difficult to know what to do first. Where are all the cool things to see and which missions will get players the best gear? Well, let’s answer those questions. Star Wars Outlaws Questions briefly.

6 Complete the story to the Underworld

The best way to unlock mechanics

Talk to Eleera in Star Wars Outlaws

The game starts out fairly linear once players are on Cantonica. Once they get their ship and crash land on Toshara, it becomes more of an open world adventure, but players shouldn’t wander around just yet. They should take Waka’s advice and head straight to the city of Mirogana. After completing a few tasks and finishing with the Underworld mission, they will be presented with a choice.

In Star Wars OutlawsPlayers can either give the data to Eleera to become Crimson Dawn’s favorite, or they can save the information for the Pyke Syndicate. Logically, Eleera is the best option here, as she will be helpful in upcoming future missions. After you make this choice, the world will really open up, leading to more side quests and even more difficult decisions.

5 Unlock Kay’s first health upgrade.

Understanding the Skill System

Armored Undershirt – Ability in Star Wars Outlaws

The skill system in the game works like an achievement system on consoles. By playing the game in a certain way, passive and active skills are unlocked. The very first skill that players should work towards is called Armored Undershirt and can increase Kay’s health in Star Wars Outlaws from three bars to four bars.

Unlocking Armored Undershirt requires two upgrade components: Coraseweve and Ironweave. Coraseweve is fairly common and diligent players should be able to find plenty of it in the main missions when exploring. Ironweave is rare and can be found randomly, but it can be purchased in Mirogana, such as at Berek Keehro’s shop near Makal’s Gaming Parlor. Once all components are collected, players can activate Armored Undershirt in the menu to receive the permanent health upgrade.

4 Food Nix

Equip the ship with food to gain advantages

Buy Che Mosska at the grocery store

There are other shops in Mirogana that players should visit before venturing into the great unknown. If players look at their map, they should be able to see a few food vendors, and one of them in particular will supply players with Che Mosska. Going into this shop will trigger a minigame where players can feed Nix using Quick Time Event prompts Star Wars OutlawsIf players pass the test, they will receive the recipe for Che Mosska to feed to Nix forever.

It will not improve stats like other cooking methods in RPGs, including Monster Hunter World or Final Fantasy 15Instead, players can fill Nix’s bowl on the ship, which will give him a stat or skill boost while the food is essentially equipped. For example, Che Mosska will cause Nix to kick grenades away from Kay during a scuffle. So once Che Mosska and other bowls are found on Toshara, players should return to their ship in Jaunta’s Hope.

In addition to the factions, players must also deal with imperial troops. If they are fought naturally or their land is entered, the warning level will be raised to Star Wars Outlaws something like a wanted level in a Grand Theft Auto game. However, there are other enemy types besides these main types that do not affect the player if they fail, making them less scary.

A great example can be found south of Mirogana at a location called the Shipjacker Workshop. Here, a random group of space pirates have a compound with a ton of loot. Players can loot great materials at this facility and practice the game mechanics of shooting and stealth without having to worry about angering the Imperials or the many factions.

Get two more skill allies

Selo Rovak's Shop in Star Wars Outlaws

After completing the Underworld mission, Danka has another job for Kay, which involves getting her first module for her pistol. Once that job is complete, Danka rewards Kay with information on two vendors in the area. The first leads to Selo Rovak, who can help repair her speeder, and the second involves Aila Bren, who can supply Kay with better hacking equipment. Star Wars Outlaws.

Both characters lead to some fun but challenging missions with rewards. The other nice thing about facing Selo and Aila is that they give players two new skill trees to level up. Treasure Hunter is a good skill from Selo that can reveal chests in the world, and Lightfooted is a beneficial skill from Aila that can stun Kay’s footsteps.

1 Driving through Toshara

Discover secrets through exploration

Driving a speeder in Star Wars Outlaws

The last tip is rather loose, but it has to be said. Star Wars Outlaws is an open world game and should be played as such. As great as the main story missions are, it’s also fun to get lost in a new Star Wars video game world.

So grab the speeder and drive around Toshara for a few hours. Players will likely hear conversations from NPCs about hidden objects or even Imperial distress calls about pirate camps. There’s no need to explore Toshara with a fine-tooth comb, though, as there are other planets to see. Star Wars Outlaws.
