When Odell Beckham encountered intruders while staying at Drake’s: “They came in like we made it to Drake’s place!”

Odell Beckham once had to deal with an unexpected incident when he met some diehard Drake fans while the American football player was at the rapper’s house. The fans broke into the Canadian’s house in the early hours of the morning.

Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins star told the world how he felt. In an episode of the Punch Line Podcast with Marlon Humphrey, the wide receiver recalled his experience, saying, “Somehow (these guys) found the kid’s house and broke in.”

Odell continued, “And man, they come in the room and say, ‘We made it to Drake’s place!’ (Their) socks (were) totally dirty, like they had to crawl through the mountains to get here.” The Dolphins star also said that he even took selfies with the insecure intruders before calling security to get them out of the house.

The incident first came into the spotlight when Odell sat for an interview with UFC legend Ronda Rousey in 2016. His connection with Drake may be old enough to have several such memories and exciting moments as they stayed in touch.

Meanwhile, there was speculation that Odell and Drake were roommates after their stay at his house. However, the American football player cleared up the doubts and called them a “misunderstanding”. He said: “He was actually on tour and I was living there. Everyone was like, ‘Oh, they’re roommates!’ It wasn’t really.”

Odell and Drake may not be roommates, but they definitely lived like it. Their close friendship has not only shaped their lives, but also the lives of their fans, who definitely admire their connection.

Although Odell is one of the best and most famous players in the world, he certainly also has famous friends like Drake. The two have been very close for years, and it all started when the player began his career in the National Football League in 2014 when he joined the New York Jets.

Odell and Drake bonded quite closely during the rapper God’s Plan’s overseas tour, during which the footballer spent three months in London. The two met on various occasions in different cities during that time.

Meanwhile, the latest update on Odell Jr.’s injury has been released by the franchise. He is currently on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list and despite improvements, will not return to practice this week. Head coach Mike McDaniel updated fans on him in his press conference earlier in the week. The manager stated that the Dolphins are in no rush to have the player play.

The franchise just wants Odell to be able to play his best whenever he needs to. In the meantime, the Dolphins will begin their regular season on Sept. 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That game will be followed by games against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 12 and the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 22.

Their final game of September will be against the Tennessee Titans on September 30th before heading into next month. Their next preseason game will be against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 24th.
