play

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will kick off the penultimate night of the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday by officially accepting the party’s nomination for vice president.

The acceptance came less than a month after Walz was first nominated as Harris’s running mate, but the governor has spent that time campaigning in swing states across the country, including Tuesday night in Milwaukee at the campaign’s largest rally yet.

Walz’s wife, Gwen, and two children, Hope and Gus, are expected to watch his speech from the convention hall.

Here’s what we know about when Walz will speak and who will take the stage before him in Chicago.
