It’s time to rise up, Buckeye Nation.
On Saturday, August 31, second-seeded Ohio State will begin its regular season against the Akron Zips at Ohio Stadium.
After the season debut on home turf, recently appointed starting quarterback Will Howard and the team still have seven (!) big home games to play at Ohio Stadium from September to the end of November.
These include key games against the Iowa Hawkeyes (Oct. 5), Nebraska Cornhuskers (Oct. 26), Purdue Boilermakers (Nov. 9) and longtime rival – and 2024 College Football Playoff national champion – the Michigan Wolverines on Nov. 30.
This is also an important season for Ohio State.
The team has so much talent on board – Cleveland.com said it has one of the “best rosters ever” – that coach Ryan Day’s job could be on the line if they don’t deliver.
