WWE Bash in Berlin – Match card and rumors

The next premium live event on the WWE calendar is the Party in Berlin The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024. This will be the first time the promotion will hold a PLE in Germany, at the Uber Arena in Berlin.

There are just under two weeks until showtime and we are already halfway to a complete card:

  • World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Randy Orton

They use the controversial finish from the King of the Ring tournament final – the same victory that earned GUNTHER the championship title. SummerSlam — to justify this rematch. It works.

  • WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

There’s not much substance to this match. Rhodes just said he wanted to give his friend a title shot, and although Owens initially declined, when he heard Roman Reigns might be in for a rematch, he cut such an impassioned promo that SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis booked him in the match. No signs of a turnaround so far, so they could just run this as a babyface program.

  • Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest vs. Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio

Ripley & Priest have officially left The Judgment Day and are now known as the Terror Twins. At least that’s what they call themselves. It’s a cool name. Given their mixed status, it was a natural move to pursue the duo that made life hell for Ripley, Morgan, and their former flame Dirty Dom.

That’s it.
