Xbox gamers are warned: You have until August 30th to grab these free games

Play them before it’s too late

Services like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus give you access to hundreds of video games, whether they’re AAA heavyweights, indie favorites, or classics from yesteryear.

However, similar to Sony’s PlayStation Plus, not every game will stay on Xbox Game Pass forever, unlike most first-party games, including Halo Infinite, Gears 5, Forza Motorsport and much more. The length of time each third-party game stays on the service can vary, so it’s often a good idea to play a game you like the look of before it’s too late.

Check out the trailer for Atomic Heart below!

This month, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to some absolute blockbusters, including Age of Mythology: Retold, Frostpunk 2And Mafia: Definitive Edition to name a few. Unfortunately, the subscription service will also be losing some fantastic titles this month.

We have already lost Airborne Kingdoms, Extraterrestrial trading company, Shadow Warrior 3 And The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But now, as Comicbook.com reports, three more titles will be released on August 30, 2024, including Atomic Heart, Guilty Gear – Strive And NBA2K24.

Perhaps the most outstanding game leaving Xbox Game Pass is the BioShock-inspired Atomic Heart.

“In a sublime utopian world, you will take part in explosive battles, adapt your fighting style to each opponent, use your environment and improve your equipment to complete your mission. If you want to find out the truth, you must pay with blood,” says the synopsis of Atomic Heart.

If you’re dying to pick up any of the soon-to-be-expired games and you’re currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can take advantage of a 20% discount while the games are available in the library, but if you’re patient, you’ll likely be able to pick them up at a better price at a later date.
