Xbox releases 3 free games you can download and play this weekend

However, they are only available for the next 3 days, so take advantage of the offer as soon as possible.

Microsoft has just announced its latest Free Play Days promotion and the three games currently up for grabs couldn’t be more different.

As revealed in the Xbox Wire blog, the three games on offer are Bassmaster Fishing, Make roomAnd The Elder Scrolls Online.

Bassmaster Fishing And Make room are available to anyone with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass Core subscription and are free to play from now until August 11 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

The Elder Scrolls Online is free for everyone (regardless of whether you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription or not) until August 19, so you can safely save that for last if you can’t decide which title to try first.

As stated, you can get the downloads regardless of which Xbox system you own. This presumably does not apply to the now-defunct Xbox 360 Marketplace, which officially closed on July 29th of last month.

Bassmaster Fishing is, as the name suggests, a fishing game. It has pretty good reviews as far as fishing games go, but I’m sure if you like this genre, I shouldn’t waste my digital language raving about it to you.

The Elder Scrolls Online is Bethesda’s version of an MMO set in the world of Tamriel. It’s a fancy way of saying, “It’s Skyrim, but you can play it online.”

There is an optional paid subscription in addition to the base game, but it is not required if you jump into the game during the Free Play Days promotion. You will easily get enough content out of the game before the 19th.

Make room is the real star of the show. For those who don’t know, it’s a top-down racing game with online and offline multiplayer.

The catch is that Make room allows players to design and build the maps they race on, and the developers obviously want to inspire players to build the meanest tracks imaginable. It’s a fun little title, especially if you have friends to play it with.

All titles are available now, so be sure to check out what’s available before the Free Play Days promotion ends.
