Yu-Gi-Oh’s new Seto Kaiba figure shows the dark side of the heart of the cards

The original Yu-Gi-Oh! The anime and manga series is still very popular with many people and the characters depicted in it are just as fondly remembered as the monsters on the cards. One of them was a vicious duelist who is now getting a new collectible figure.

As one of Yugi Mutou’s fiercest rivals, Seto Kaiba was a vengeful and arrogant duelist in the classic Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duel Monsters Anime. The dark antagonist is now portrayed by a cute but cunning Good Smile Company figure, and is equipped with his Duel Disk and trademark jacket. With the card game associated with the franchise now turning 25, there’s no better time – relatively speaking – for a duel.

Yugi’s greatest rival from Yu-Gi-Oh gets the perfect new toy from the Good Smile Company

As part of the Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid series, the new Seto Kaiba figure is based on his usual appearance in the now “retro” Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime. From his perfectly coiffed hairstyle to his jacket and Duel Disk, every familiar facet of his design is featured in the 3.94-inch collectible. The figure features serious, mocking, and shocked facial options that can be swapped out, allowing fans to recreate every moment of his famous duels, from his boastful highs to his desolate lows (namely, his defeat to Yugi).

The Seto Kaiba Nendoroid also comes with cards and a card-shaped pendant, the former of which can be held in his hands to simulate a duel, as well as a stand to properly display and pose the figure. The figure is now available for pre-order through the Good Smile Company. The toy retails for $44.99 and is scheduled to be released in Q2 2025. Fans who order through the website will also receive a bonus in the form of a sheet featuring the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, one of the franchise’s many iconic dragons and an instantly recognizable “mascot.” The latter is the perfect complement to the Nendoroid, making it a great part of any Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan collection.
