Little change in gasoline prices in Los Angeles and Orange County

The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline at self-dispensing stations in Los Angeles County fell two-tenths of a cent to $4.564 on Sunday.

The average price is 4.1 cents lower than a week ago, 20.5 cents lower than a month ago and 63 cents lower than a year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The price has fallen by $1.93 since its record high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

The average price in Orange County rose half a cent to $4.485, a day after ending a streak of 11 consecutive declines when it was unchanged. That’s 3.8 cents less than a week ago, 20.2 cents less than a month ago and 66 cents less than a year ago. The average price in Orange County has fallen $1.974 since rising to a record $6.459 on October 5, 2022.
