WWE Bash in Berlin – Match card and rumors

The next premium live event on the WWE calendar is the Party in Berlin The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024. This will be the first time the promotion will hold a PLE in Germany, at the Uber Arena in Berlin.

There are just under three weeks left until the first performances begin and the top of the list is set:

  • World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Randy Orton

Remember, there was some controversy about GUNTHER defeating Orton to become King of the Ring and earn the title shot SummerSlam This ultimately led to him becoming the new ruler of the house. This is what they used as the basis for his first defense.

  • WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

Rhodes tried to just give Owens the title shot, as he was desperate to fight him and reward Cody for all the hard work and help he had put in over the past few months. KO initially refused, but when SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis started acting like Roman Reigns was going to get the match, Owens changed his mind and Aldis agreed to give him the fight.

There are other title matches that could happen on this show, but it’s still unclear if that will happen. Santos Escobar will face LA Knight for the United States Championship at some point, possibly here. Meanwhile, DIY vs. The Street Profits will determine the next top contender to The Bloodline’s WWE Tag Team Championship. That could happen here too.

Do you like how the map is taking shape?
