How to get tickets to the Fayetteville 40 Under 40 Awards

For this year’s 40 Under 40 reception, the Fayetteville Observer is partnering with the Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission, a panel created by the Fayetteville City Council to help retain and attract young professionals to the area.

Now in its 14th year, the prestigious 40 Under 40 award is designed to spotlight young professionals who excel in their work and service to their community. Nominees must live or work in Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Moore, Robeson, Sampson or Scotland counties and be younger than 40 years old as of July 1, 2024.

Fayetteville NEXT and Creative Director Ayana Washington have planned an amazing evening for the class of 2024 on August 29th at 1601 Raeford Road.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 7:30 p.m. with keynote speaker, North Carolina Senator Val Applewhite of Cumberland County.

A limited number of tickets are now available for purchase to the public.

Tickets are $26 and include refreshments by Bella Melange and others, a 360-degree photo booth with Celfie 360, professional photography with MelaJay, and entertainment courtesy of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra.
